The owner of a luxury supercar is likely to be facing a hefty insurance bill following a moment of madness on a European country road.
The footage shared recently on social media showed a column of three supercars overtaking other vehicles on the road. The supercars appear to be either Lamborghini’s or Ferrari’s, or a mixture of both.
The first, a dark blue model, overtakes the car filming the incident, narrowly missing a motorcyclist coming the other way.
It was quickly followed by two red supercars, the first of which appeared to slow down when it reached it’s blue counterpart – possibly as a result of seeing on-coming traffic. This first red supercar makes a sharp turn as if to avoid something, but ends up clipping the blue car, which in turn smashes into the rear of a motorhome travelling at the front.
The collision caused the motorhome to flip onto its side, while the blue supercar came to a stop off the side of the road. The third supercar was not involved in the incident and escaped damage.
The final clips of the video showed the blue supercar on the back of a tow truck, showing extensive damage, and likely to be considered an insurance write-off. A second blue supercar which had overtaken the motorhome at the beginning of the video was also towed away.
The Daily Sun is unable to verify the condition of the drivers or passengers of the damaged vehicles, or whether charges have been laid.
