Rugby stars Grace Steinmetz and Rameka Poihipi celebrate dream wedding

Grace Steinmetz, former Black Ferns player, and Rameka Poihipi, Chiefs rugby star, celebrated a magical three-day wedding at Te Tumu Estate in Papamoa despite setbacks like a last-minute caterer cancellation and a career-ending injury for Grace.

The couple’s adaptable athlete mindset helped them overcome obstacles, resulting in a joyous celebration with 160 guests, including family and fellow rugby players.

For Grace, the wedding marked a new chapter as she transitions from rugby to a legal career and her sports management agency, Athlete Advantage, following her early retirement due to a concussion. Looking forward to their honeymoon in Fiji and an exciting future, the newlyweds described their celebration as “beyond magical.”
