Kansas City Chiefs make history

The Kansas City Chiefs cemented their dominance with a commanding 29-10 Christmas Day victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, securing the AFC's top seed, a first-round bye, and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes led the charge, throwing for 320 yards and three touchdowns, including a milestone 1,000th reception for tight end Travis Kelce.

In a rare statistical feat, the Chiefs became the first team since 1925’s Frankford Yellow Jackets to win at least 13 games in a season without scoring over 30 points in any game.

The Steelers, meanwhile, suffered their third straight loss, jeopardising their AFC North title hopes and leaving them reliant on the Ravens stumbling in the season’s final stretch.
