In an astonishing breakthrough that could have leaped straight out of a sci-fi flick, tech titan Elon Musk has just declared that his cutting-edge biotech firm Neuralink has achieved the unthinkable – implanting a brain chip into a human for the first time ever.
Musk, the visionary behind this radical tech adventure, dropped the bombshell revelation on his own social media platform, X (previously known as Twitter). In a post that’s got everyone talking, he announced, “first human received an implant from Neuralink yesterday and is recovering well.” What’s more, Musk teased that initial tests are already showing jaw-dropping results, with the chip picking up brain cell signals like a pro.

This isn’t just a stunt; Neuralink is on a mission to revolutionise how we interact with technology. Imagine controlling gadgets with your mind – no hands needed! The company’s big plan is to roll out a wireless brain-computer interface, a game-changer for people grappling with disabilities like paralysis.
Enables control of your phone or computer, and through them almost any device, just by thinking.
Initial users will be those who have lost the use of their limbs.
Imagine if Stephen Hawking could communicate faster than a speed typist or auctioneer. That is the goal.

Dubbed PRIME – or “Precise Robotically Implanted Brain-Computer Interface,” Neuralink’s audacious human trial is the talk of the tech town. With the help of its cutting-edge R1 Robot, the firm aims to plant the chip in a brain area that’s all about motor control, turning thoughts into actions via an app.
Despite past controversies and whispers of rushed experiments, Neuralink got the green light from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last May. Rumours had swirled about animal-welfare issues during earlier tests, but that didn’t stop Musk and his team from charging full steam ahead.
