Chaos at Boston Airport: JetBlue jets in tarmac tango

Flight 777’s wing flirted a little too aggressively with Flight 551’s tail around the crack of dawn at 6:40 a.m., all happening on the deicing stage, according to the sky-high authorities at the Federal Aviation Administration. Miraculously, everyone emerged unscathed.

One traveler, Dave Souter, nearly missed his gig at a Super Bowl event in Las Vegas when his plane decided to mingle with another jet after detaching from its leash at the gate, he spilled to Boston 25 News.

The unlucky other jet was jet-setting towards Orlando, Fla.

“It’s been a rollercoaster of a morning for us, folks,” Casey Cunningham dished on X, singing praises for the JetBlue crew who were the unsung heroes, keeping everyone calm and in the loop. “They’re already on the hunt for a new chariot for us dreamers heading to Orlando.”

JetBlue is pulling both birds from the skies for a little TLC, a company mouthpiece confided to NY Post.

“Safety is our love language at JetBlue, and we’re on a mission to unravel this mystery,” he declared, with the Federal Aviation Administration playing detective on this airborne enigma.
