Blink-182 slam Australia and Christchurch in concert rant

Pop-punk ban Blink-182 didn't hold back at their Auckland gig tonight, throwing shade far and wide – from Australia to Christchurch.

Bassist Mark Hoppus led the charge with a bold “f*** Australia” shout-out, claiming it was all in the name of ‘flattery.’ But he didn’t stop there; his love for NZ’s snake-free lands and mānuka honey (with some too-hot-for-print comments) had fans reeling.

Tom DeLonge, not one to be outdone, teased Aucklanders with a backhanded compliment about the city’s women and his eagerness for a Taco Bell pit stop. But the band’s previous “f*** Christchurch” comment in Melbourne has sparked outrage, leaving Christchurch city councillor Andrei Moore and fans fuming over the cancelled show they’d been anticipating for 18 months.

Meanwhile, drummer Travis Barker and reality queen Kourtney Kardashian made a stylish arrival in Auckland, adding star power and a touch of family life to the tour chaos. With their blend of punk rock rebellion and celebrity glam, Blink-182’s tour is making headlines for all the wrong (or right?) reasons.
